Destin Brewery has joined the hard seltzer league.
Releasing two initial flavors, Lavender Mojito and I’m Your Huckleberry, they desired labels to reflect the fresh trend but also look distinctly not like their beer labels (after all, they’re not beer).
The seltzers still come in traditional 12-ounce beer cans, but to emphasize the height of the cans, I took a vertical design approach using tall text and a top-weighted design.
In lockstep with their other branded beverages, I kept the Destin Brewery logo off-center, a unique placement when most other brands put their logos top and center.
Future labels will feature colored waves that speak to the flavor inside.
